Rhyme Time Matching and Memory Game

This is a really fun way to help with mastery of rhyming words. This literacy game is also a great resource for centers, small group review or as a finished early activity in your classroom.

You can use this as either a matching game or a memory game. The instructions for both are included. This game is can be kept in photo boxes for easy organization and storage. A photo of the photo storage boxes I use in the classroom for center and finished early activities is included on the directions page of this resource.

Once the game is over, students can record their thinking on the included exit ticket to show what they know. Exit tickets are an easy way to take a snapshot of evidence of learning and mastery of this foundational literacy skill.
