We had a total blast during Leader In Me today learning about Habit 1... Be Proactive.
We read the book, "Someday A Bird Will Poop On You", by Sue Salvi, and learned that even when the day isn't going your way... even if a bird poops on you... it is all about how you choose to let it affect your mood. After reading the book, we drew pictures of a bird pooping on us and decided that we would laugh about it and not let it ruin our day if a bird pooped on us.
