Monthly Reading Logs

This is a great way to encourage your little ones to independent read in the classroom, or read with their families at home.

Students can set their reading goal for the month and have their parents initial each time they read at home. I have also included a flyer that can be sent home that outlines the benefits of reading at home for a family-school partnership through reading.

At the end of the month, students can write or draw about their favorite book read that month and total up the number of days they read to see if they met their goal. There is are also monthly themed clipart images that can be colored as well so that students can make the reading logs their own.
